SANTIAGO ECHEVERRY

Santiago Echeverry is a Colombian-American digital and new media artist, graduated from the first promotion of the Film and Television Career of the National University of Colombia. From an early age, he was exploring the creative possibilities of video, performance and digital technologies, exhibiting his works internationally since 1992. In 1995 he obtained the Fulbright Scholarship and received his Master in Interactive Telecommunications at NYU. He specialized in production and programming of websites and since then he has been dedicated to designing projects online, professionally and artistically. He has resided in the USA since 2003, where he has focused mainly on the development of videos and interactive installations, participating in international festivals such as Siggraph, FILE and the Japan Media Arts Festival, among others. He is currently Associate Professor of New Media at the University of Tampa, Florida. All his work can be found on his website www.santi.tv

Graduated in photography at the ICP in New York and in gestalt therapy by the IPG of Madrid.

Since 2003 she has been working professionally in photography mainly as a freelance in the press and publicity, developing in parallel her artistic vocation through projects focused on portraiture and the use of resources from psychology to photograph.
